Fampyra? FOR ME OR NOT?

Okay so Fampyra has been approved and is available by prescription from your neurologist.  Of course you will have to qualify [EDSS 3.5 to 7], and you will establish a baseline 25' walking test, with or without an assistive device.

Then, after that qualification, you will try it for a month to see if it works for you.  If it doesn't by then, it's not going to, and you will stop taking it.

As with all symptom management drugs and DMD's, it works for some but not for all.  Studies show its efficacy in 35-43% of MS patients.  I see my neurologist next week to discuss.
